I have promised myself that I will only weigh myself once a week but yesterday I just had to weigh myself again. I couldn't quite believe that I had lost 4 lbs and just needed to double check the scales. Low and behold I was down to 9st 13 1/4lb. BUT I WILL NOT WEIGH MYSELF AGAIN NOW UNTIL FRIDAY!!!!!
I seem to have the exercise bug - even though just my brisk walking has made me ache! I did an hour on the Wii Fit Plus yesterday - Step, Hula Hooping, Cycling and lots of jogging and a bit more Step to cool down. I made sure that I was doing enough so that it made me out of breath and sweaty!
This morning, I woke early and it was so sunny, that I went off for another 30 minute brisk walk at 7am. I love the feeling of actually doing something that is good for you. It was blissfully quiet out but it was so, so cold!!!!
Then I had the brainwave of creating this blog - in the hope that if I say out loud that I am going to lose weight, then I will stick to it and if I have to make public any misdemeanours, then hopefully I will be shamed into not doing them again. Plus I hope for some extra encouragement by my readers and maybe even encourage others to try and lose some weight too!
I do worry that I have become a bit of a WW "convert" and I have started yapping about it to anyone who will listen! :-) But so far it has been so easy and the Tracker makes it easy to control my portion size.
My first goal set by the WW website is to lose 5% of my body weight which takes me to 9st 11lbs. I am not sure what my final goal will be but for my massive height of 5ft 1" I should weigh anywhere between 7st 8lb and 9st 6lb. I am thinking that I may like to be about 8 and a half stone and ofcourse then I need to maintain this weight.
Right I am off to do some cooking - some more WW Veg Curry and a Chilli and get the roast ready for later.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read all this.
